Heute kündigte nun auch Gainward GeForceFX-Produkte an: Gainward FX PowerPack! Series Ultra/1000 Plus "Golden Sample" (GFFX 5800 Ultra) und Gainward FX PowerPack! Series Ultra/800 Plus "Golden Sample" (GFFX 5800) Die Spezifikationen der Karten sind mit denen von Terratec's GeForceFX nahezu ident. Allerdings erlaubt sich Gainward wieder einmal einige Extra-Schmankerln. Bei beiden Modellen wird ein erweitertes Noise-Controling-System versprochen, das die gefürchteten Dezibel der GeForceFX auf 7db max beschränken soll. überraschenderweise wird bei der 1000er Variante nicht nur eine Firewire-Card, sondern sogar auch eine 5.1 - Soundkarte mitgeliefert, welcher Soundchip hier zum Einsatz kommt, ist noch unbekannt. Neben dem ebenso noch unbekannten Games-Bundle verspricht das fortschrittlichere GoldenSample-Design mit dem hauseigenen EXPERTool hühere Taktraten.
